NEW ADDITIONS TO THE 400 CLUB
Two of the AFL’s most veteran umpires are set to join the 400-games club, as field umpire Chris Donlon and boundary umpire Adam Coote complete their respective 400th AFL matches this weekend.

AFL field umpire Ray Chamberlain appeared on Whateley on SEN yesterday and clarified the interpretation of several rules, including the Push in the Back and the Throwing the Ball interpretations.
AFLUA GOAL UMPIRES’ FUNCTION
The AFLUA hosted the Melbourne-based Goal Umpires’ squad dinner at the George Hotel in South Melbourne on Tuesday, 18th July.
ANOTHER UNIQUE EXPERIENCE
The Round 16 AFL match between the Western Bulldogs v Fremantle on Saturday 1 July at Marvel Stadium saw another Fiona McBurney Match Day Experience take place.
THREE MORE FIELD UMPIRES DEBUT
Rounds 17 and 18 of the ongoing AFL Season saw three more field umpires make their debuts. Cameron Jones, Peter Bailes and Harrison Birch got the nod and were awarded their respective heritage numbers.
