Queensland field umpire, Tom McArthur passed away suddenly on Friday June 15. Tom was a good friend of the AFLUA and all umpires. In Queensland his career was without peer.

AFL to again trial four field umpires
Four field umpires will officiate every game in rounds 13 and 14 in a trial that could be adopted on a full-time basis next season.

Rob Findlay returned to the ground where his career started this weekend, when he officiated in his 200thAFL match between Melbourne and Collingwood in the Queen’s Birthday classic at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in front of a huge crowd. Sitting in the crowd were his proud parents, wife and three children, all cheering for #23!

Luke Walker gives back to local footy
