Debut Milestone: Kieran Ferguson
Congratulations to AFL Boundary Umpire, Kieran Ferguson on achieving his Debut 1st game milestone. Kieran’s milestone match was on Round 3, Friday 2nd April 2021 North Melbourne vs Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium. Well done to Kieran on this proud achievement with many more games to come in the future.

Jesse Baird was introduced to the umpiring fraternity back in December when he was appointed to the AFL goal umpire list in Queensland. All was going well until Covid-19 restrictions came into play robbing him of the normal pre-season approach for a first timer.

Simon Plumridge – Patience and resilience are rewarded with AFL game number one
If one could get frustrated about the delay to the AFL season, it would be Simon. Having had little movement in the AFL list for some years, Simon umpired four VFL grand finals before being promoted to the AFL in 2020. He then umpired one AFL game before the season was suspended.
