The Association’s oldest life member Roly Caird turns 100 today!
Roly was a goal umpire with the VFL from 1955 to 1970 and umpired 231 VFL games including 6 finals and 1 grand final in 1959. A regular member of the VFLUA Executive Committee, Roly became a Life Member of the VFLUA in 1966.
Roly continues to be an active participant in Association affairs. He regularly attends the X-Umpires’ luncheon and attended the Grand Final Umpires’ lunch in 2019.
