Bio

Adam Coote took up the whistle with the Colac and District Umpires’ Association in 1997, and has garnered a formidable top-flight honours record. These include 423 AFL matches including 31 AFL Finals, five AFL Grand Finals (2006, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2010 replay), two All-Australian blazers (2008 and 2009), the Murray Williams Shield (2012) and Bill Sutton Medallion (2006).

Coote has further shared his vast experience with the AFLW umpiring contingent, officiating in six games.

Coote has been involved with the AFLUA in the past as a boundary umpire representative, working on the Executive Committee in 2010, 2011 and 2012. He was bestowed with AFLUA Life Membership in 2014.
