The AFLUA X-Umpires’ Luncheon for August was recently held at the Glasshouse in Caulfield.

Our X-Umpires’ Luncheons continue to provide a great opportunity for retired umpires to catch up regularly.

This time around, our X-Umpires’ Coordinator Terry O’Donnell interviewed Bill Sutton (after whom the Bill Sutton Medallion award is named, which is awarded every year for the most promising first- or second-year AFL boundary umpire), who shared anecdotes from his umpiring years.
