Thirteen of our Hall of Fame members plus family and friends got together for an afternoon tea on Sunday at the Leveson Hotel in North Melbourne that turned into an afternoon of good stories, fine food and great company.

One of our four living legends, Graeme Patterson OAM was in attendance along with 12 Hall of Fame members and Val Pratt recognising Brian’s contribution to our association.

Collectively our 13 Hall of Fame members present were on VFL/AFL lists for a combined total of 193 years.  There were 4 past presidents, 4 secretaries and 2 treasurers for a grand total of 68 years of combined executive service.

If we extend that to VFL/AFL games they contributed to over 1,200 games in their careers.

We also had two of our three sets of brothers who are Hall of Fame members in attendance.  The oldest pair are Doug and Bob Gilham.  The second set were Brian and Colin Hood.  The third set of brothers in the Hall of Fame are of course are the Reg and Keith Pawley.
