The AFL Umpires Association through the Jeff Crouch Foundation donated $5620.00 to the Royal Children’s Hospital on Good Friday.

The foundation was established as a remark of respect to AFLUA Life Member, Jeff Crouch who was the Good Friday Royal Children’s Hospital Appeal Director for 20 years.

Jeff was inducted into the Australian Hall of Fame in 1996, and was Victoria’s father of the year in 1989. He passed away in 1994.

Current AFL Boundary Umpire and executive representative Shane Thiele, his wife Claire and their daughter Mackenzie presented the cheque to the appeal on behalf of the AFLUA.
