Round 22 saw the last of the Fiona McBurney program for 2017.

Mark Polonsky joined the umpires on Sunday afternoon in the game between Melbourne and Brisbane, where Mark spent the day helping out the AFL umpires trainer and the AFL umpires for the match.

Ex VFL/AFL umpire, Roger Selwood was the chaperone on the day and explained that Mark had a fantastic time.

‘”All umpires and support staff made it a day for him and his carer (Saul) to remember for a long time… at the completion of the match when Mark was presented with an umpires signed shirt and certificate, Mark said a big thank by running around the group giving them a high five, a great finale”.

Thank you to everyone who has been involved in the Fiona McBurney over the year.
