AFLUA welcomes Stephen George

 The AFLUA is delighted to announce that Stephen George will be a regular AFLUA website contributor in 2010. 

Stephen has completed a Diploma in Freelance Sports Journalism and is keen to gain some voluntary journalistic experience within the sports industry.

A passionate North Melbourne supporter. - and son of a former Bendigo umpire - Stephen will have the opportunity to explore, investigate and write about the many facets of umpiring, at both AFL and local level. 

Stephen was fortunate to have had the opportunity to report on the 2008 NFL Superbowl and interview promising basketball talent during the completion of his Diploma .  Stephen " ...looks forward to writing a variety of articles and stories for the AFLUA"

We trust that Stephen will gain quality experience and knowledge through this website contributor role and we look forward to populating aflua.com.au with entertaining and informative news stories and articles.
